Consentful Interface
Description
My idea for this project was to explain what the interface did in simple terms to allow the user to choose to engage or not based off of that information. The original camera uses pixelation and a green filter to distort the image capture and I wanted to continue the motif of obsucrity of the user through enabling the consent to viewed at all. The option for the camera to capture is freely given. The radio button allows the action of being captured to be reversible. The explanation of the application informs the user. The language aims to be simple and not charged in order to not coerce the user, allowing for enthusiastic consent. Being clear in what the application does allows for the user to know what they are specifically allowing.
